Sometimes that might mean providing comfy rooms, warm fires, and delicious food for guests to help unwind, or it might look like deep, transformative work to remind you of your wholeness. Or perhaps a little bit of both. Whatever you are drawn to, we are here to help.
Our intimate venue up in the mountains provides a special location to try something new and spend time in our uniquely designed spaces surrounded by the magic of our forest. Sterling Forest Lodge has invested heavily to be a model for sustainable, life-supporting hospitality and we're committed to environmentally friendly and supportive business practices.
We grow nutritious, organic produce and flowers that support our food systems, compost on site for soil regeneration, and use all non-toxic and bio-friendly cleaning products throughout the Lodge.
We believe it's imperative that all businesses begin looking beyond profit and start focusing more on how we can protect this world and the people that inhabit it. As a mission-driven company, we're a proud member of 1% For The Planet and, in the near future, a Benefit Corporation.
We also support many local organizations including the Vermont Youth Conservation Corp, Stowe Land Trust, and the Vermont Food Bank.
Our logo is reflective of the diverse and magical natural world that surrounds our Lodge, combined with the energy of our intention. That combination is the Spirit of the Forest, a mythical entity that is both elemental and whole. It is an example of the unfolding of our true nature as beings that are beautifully unique yet a part of Nature. It's a guide and the soul of Sterling Forest Lodge.
