Our boutique lodge is tucked away in the mountains above Stowe, Vermont on the ancestral lands of the Abenaki people. Our40 acres offer miles of walking, hiking, biking, and skiing trails with close access to thousands of acres of pristine wild nature right behind the lodge. It's a natural wonderland.

Our world needs us to be better. And being better means being conscious of our effects on the planet and the footprint we leave behind. Sterling Forest Lodge is committed to sustainable business practices and awareness of our collective environmental impact.
Our menu is designed with each season's offering in mind to cut down our impact and carbon footprint. We source a majority of our ingredients from nearby local farms and our own organic vegetable garden when in season.
Under the Canopy is our towel and spa partner. Their organic towels and robes are 100% organic and 100% cozy.
We've partnered Avocado Green Mattresses to provide organic, non-toxic, comfy-as-heck mattresses and linens in all our rooms. And discount codes to purchase after you sleep on them!
Sterling Forest sources as much as we can from our local communities, and give back through partnerships local conservation non-profits like the Vermont Youth Conservation Corp and Stowe Land Trust.
