The newly renovated Lodge is designed to inspire. We carefully crafted all our interior spaces using local natural materials and decor drawn from the surrounding environment to bring the outside, in.

Our studio is the heart, with incredible views of the Green Mountains and a peacefulness that mirrors the forest just outside. Living spaces are chic and cozy, designed to bring guests into community, and also give them space when needed.

Your retreat has access to it all. The Lodge. The Land. The Vibe, The Spirit of the Forest. And the magic.

Our intimate venue up in the mountains provides a special location to try something new and spend time in our uniquely designed spaces surrounded by the magic of our forest. As owners, we took it upon ourselves to artfully design every detail of our spaces to pair creativity and nature together into an inspiring experience.

Each room at the Lodge tells a different story. Stories of Vermont. Stories of nature. Stories of time. All seven of our rooms are named after the type of tree used for the wood flooring -- all of which are also found in our surrounding forest. Ash, Maple, Birch etc. We've literally brought the outside, in.

We've also also spared no expense to supply all our rooms with organic, non-toxic mattresses and linens from Avocado Green Mattresses, organic towels and robes from Under the Canopy, and Vermont's own natural bath products by Ursa Major. All so your guests can rest easy, and rest safely.

Our network of local chefs have all cooked at Sterling Forest and know the lodge, the kitchen, and what it takes to feed a group well in this setting. Whether you're looking for full farm-to-table meal service throughout your stay or simply want a chef on-site for one special dinner, we can connect you with someone who fits your vision and budget.

Sterling Forest is located up a picturesque dirt road in a quiet mountain valley above Stowe, Vermont. Once your arrive, you immediately feel the peace and quiet of our zone in your bones.

The Lodge itself has sweeping views of Vermont's famous Green Mountains and the property sits on 40 pristine acres of fields, forests and an old apple orchard. We have miles of easily accessible trails to explore in any season, and quiet spaces to sit and relax. Our organic garden helps feed guests in the warmer months and we have nightly fires in our firepit for staying warm while gazing at the stars.

It's a little peaceful slice of heaven.

One of our most popular add-on experiences, the rustic spa at Sterling Forest Lodge is nothing short of magical. Guests enjoy the healing benefits of hydrotherapy while surrounded by the serenity of the forest.

Our custom built wood-fired sauna, wood-fired hot tub, and cedar cold plunge are available for a unique rustic spa experience with breathtaking views of the green mountains.

Spa sessions are available as an add-on for all retreats and events.

Where all the magic happens. The very first space we designed, the Yoga Studio is the heart of the Lodge. Use it for yoga, ceremony, sharing, teaching – whatever you bring, this space will support you.

We supply all mats, blocks, bolsters, blankets, candles, good vibes and support. You bring the magic.

That's Heather there on the computer, and her partner Blake isn't far away. We're the co-owners of Sterling Forest Lodge. We're trained guides and teachers and we host our own retreats here too. So we know a thing or two about what it takes to create a successful retreat.
